The new high performance features found on the SC10 4×4 Factory Team kit have been designed to give this truck the competitive edge in the dirt and on the track. The SC10 4×4 Factory Team kit is built from the same race proven composite modular chassis but with many new upgraded features added. The chassis layout has been reconfigured and now features a centralized-mass battery mount. This allows the use of a saddle pack battery to optimize the weight distribution of the chassis. With the addition of the Factory Team carbon fiber chassis brace rod, the chassis flex has been made more consistent and predictable for an overall improvement in handling and traction.

Exotek SC10 4×4 saddle pack inline mount
Exotek have released a saddle pack inline mount for Exotek SC10 4×4 LCG chassis. It uses the pre-drilled holes found on the LCG alloy chassis. The design allows for bolt in mounting of saddle packs and mounts your standard saddle packs ‘inline’ for better balance over the stock SC10 4×4 location. It can be used with the stock plastic chassis if you drill your own holes for 3mm hardware. Includes threaded posts, spacers and hardware.

The Advantage Touch charger is a new generation of high tech charger from Team Orion. Equipped with a touch sensitive color LCD screen and specialized touch software, it’s a brand new experience in the field of battery charging. The centre piece of this new charger is the Spectra TFT color touch screen which allows you to reach all the different features of the system with ease. The charger itself is an AC/DC unit with 0.1 to 5A output current and 0.1 to 1.0A discharge current and it can handle all the modern lithium based battery types up to 6 cells. Pro-Line Slash 4×4 ProTrac kit sneak peek
Pro-Line have released a sneak peek of their new Slash 4×4 ProTrac kit. Near completion the kit will consist of new suspension arms and turnbuckles to widen the geometry of the truck for smoother handling. The arms have multiple mounting locations for suspension tuning and the wheels, which will most likely be included, will be the popular ProTrac negative offset matching other popular SC trucks such as SC10 and Losi. The team is really excited as the Prototype truck has performed very well in testing at a variety of tracks. We will have more information when the kit is released.

KO Propo BSx Standard servo & wires
KO Propo have released a number of new items starting with this BSx Standard servo. Based on the successful high-quality RSx series materials is this high end brushless steering servo. Featuring full aluminium gears made from a special Japanese aluminium, double ball bearings and an aluminium middle case machined from one piece of aluminium that incorporates the gear pins and motor being held properly in place. Suitable for all 1/8th and 1/10th scale vehicles it has a speed of 0.06s@60°(7.4V)/0.07s@60°(6.0V) and a torque of 20.0kg-cm(7.4V)/15.0kg-cm(6.0V). Also new is a 7.4V adjuster connector for allowing RSx series, BSx series servos or any high voltage servo to operate at high voltage in an electric vehicle. Finally their is a Servo lead extension wire with an increase to 50 cable core copper wire that allows for more current to be carried through a servo or a receiver battery pack.

Team Orion weight transfer system LiPo battery
Team Orion have introduced the WTS ‘Weight Transfer System’ in combination with a World Champion winning Carbon Pro 90C 4000mAh battery. Weight distribution is an important factor in the setup of the car and racers move the battery forwards or backwards to change the weight distribution. The problem is that the size and disposition of current batteries limits the effectiveness of this setting. To remove this limitation, they have developed a new battery case that uses shorter cells and is equipped with three compartments to fit weights. Thanks to this you can not only modify the position of the battery, but also its total weight and the disposition of that weight within the battery case. For perfect installation in your car, the Carbon Pro 90C WTS battery features two connector positions. This also allows you to shorten your ESC cables for even better efficiency. Furthermore the battery has switched battery polarities between front and rear to avoid misconnections when the battery is turned.
