Losi XXX-SCT rolling chassis
The 1/10-scale XXX-SCT from Losi is ready to take on the short course. As a ROAR-legal rolling chassis, it comes out of the box completely pre-assembled with wheels and tyres. Electronics and motor is the choice of the driver and this means that from the standpoint of putting a race car on the track this all important choice is left to the guy that matters, the driver. It is also a considerable saving for those who want a ready built chassis but would rather choose the type of electronics combination themselves. Another race trait, the body shell supplied is clear. So, all ready to take that all important colour scheme that individualizes the truck and makes it stand out in a race.

TQ Racing big bore shocks
Get your Short Course truck ready for those bumpy outdoor tracks of the summer with TQ’s big bore shocks. Developed from stellar racing results at events like the 2010 ROAR Nationals and Short Course Showdown Tour, these large diameter shocks will give your truck a better ride over the bumpiest terrain. Dual springs will provide your truck with the soft suspension feel needed to corner hard and land big jumps, with a second spring designed not to sacrifice the ride height needed to keep proper suspension geometry. These shocks will come as standard equipment on future TQ SX10 SC and SX10 T Pro Roller kits as well.

Jimmy Storey wins Short Course National series opener
Last weekend saw the first of the 6-round Short Course national series kick off at the all-weather Astroturf track at Silverstone RCMCC. In the 4WD class, Team Durango driver Stuart Harlow dominated qualifying, taking all four rounds for the TQ spot and first on the grid. Jimmy Storey placed 2nd on the grid with the DESC410R, with Terry Atkinson 4th on the grid with yet another DESC410R. Grip levels were very high and drivers were trimming tyres to reduce the tendancy for grip roll. The finals were run over two legs instead of the 3 the drivers had been promised and it was best time to count. In leg one Jimmy Storey took up the lead after a few laps and took the leg win, but it was still very much to play for in the second leg. After taking the lead early again, Jimmy made an error passing a backmarker and Stuart re-took the lead for a couple of laps before positions changed again. Jimmy Storey took the second leg and with it the win. Stuart Harlow came in second overall for a Team Durango 1-2.
