ProTek R/C 70C LiPo battery packs
A Main Hobbies’ brand ProTek R/C have announced four new LiPo battery packs that boast an incredible 70C discharge rating. These ROAR Approved packs are available as 2S 6400mAh and 2S Shorty 4100mAh versions all with hard cases. ProTek RC offers a 50% Damage Replacement program for one year after original purchase date on all batteries that have been damaged due to impact, over-discharging, or improper charging that have not been modified or disassembled. The damaged battery will be replaced by a comparable battery at 50% off of its retail cost.

JConcepts Pressure Points SC tires
JConcepts has introduced the Pressure Points, the latest low-height tread option specifically designed to tame high-speed courses with either wet or blue groove traction conditions. The design starts as an angular, low pin design as a carryover from the successful Bar Codes front tire line-up. The small “points” combined with ‘lower case’ Y elements developed on the original Bar Codes V1 rear tire provide the ultimate in surface area pressure penetration and tack. The inner side-wall has built-in ribbing which limits carcass collapse and increases support on the outside during hard cornering and driving. Designed to be driven hard while maintaining the grip necessary to drive at the limit, the edges of the side-walls have been carefully rolled for a smooth transition during corning which limits traction-roll characteristics and allows the driver control during the all important tipping point every driver has experienced. Available in Soft (Blue), Super Soft (Green) Indoor Soft (Gold) and Outdoor hot (Orange) compounds.

RPM Revolver SC wheels
RPM have announced that their most popular wheel, the Revolver, is now available in a Short Course version (2.2” – 3.0”). RPM Revolver Short Course wheels are built tough, look great and have an all-new drive system that is built to withstand some serious power. The RPM ‘Spline Drive’ system is radically different than the standard hex drive. A hex is easy to machine and easy to manufacture, which is why it is so commonly used. However, splines are tougher and stronger, which is why they’re used in full-sized driveline components. Additionally, our Spline Drive has almost twice the amount of drive surface area versus a standard 12mm hex adapter and over 2.5 times the thickness at the most critical drive point of the adapter, the point that, if it fails, a standard hex adapter will spin. Durango DESC410R rear bumper
Durango have announced that the DESC410R rear bumper is now available. The new full-width rear bumper gives extra protection as well as scale looks and also meets the strict rules governing some race meetings where large rear bumpers are a requirement. The bumper can be run in lightweight or full-protection setups by adding or removing the included optional lower bar. The bumper comes supplied with instructions on fitting and you can read a full online guide on installing the bumper and cutting the bodyshell to fit.
