By popular demand JConcepts is bringing the Rulux design to short course racing. Suitable for the HPI Blitz, these wheels are 1:1 inspired and offer a look that is unmistakably JConcepts. No detail has been missed as the Rulux wheel incorporates a lug nut and spoke affect that emulates the real thing. Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance. Available in white and black. JConcepts have also released three new decal sheets, one specifically for the Truth/Dare body shell, one for the Manta body shell and one generic decal sheet.

Losi Strike 1/8 wheel adapters
Team Losi have introduced these new 1/8 wheel adapters for the 1/10 Strike short course truck. The set, which includes new axles that allow for simple changes between the stock wheels and 1/8-scale wheels without having to change the axles, allows 1/10 Strike SCT owners to benefit from the increased performance of 1/8-scale tires and wheels. AKA Pre-mounts on Pro-5 wheel
AKA have announced the release of pre-mounted tires on their Pro-5 wheel specifically aimed at the Short Course market. They have chosen the Cityblock and Crossbrace as their first release on these wheels, which in the Super Soft compound yielded the best results in a variety of conditions during our testing. These Pro-5 pre-mounts also utilize AKA’s innovative and often imitated ground, closed cell inserts for the ultimate in durability and performance. These are a great add-on to sell with their Short Course adapter sets for the Slash and the Associated SC10.

New from Pro-Line for the Slash, Slayer, Blitz and SC10 is the Caliber SC tire. The Caliber takes tire technology to the next level by optimizing traction, control, balance, and tire wear with its dual-stage design. The smaller top pin penetrates through loose dirt while delivering unbelievable side and forward bite. The base pin works as a support for the top pin while acting as a dual-stage design once the top pin is worn down. You can rely on the base pin for greater tread life wear and it works well on those tracks that are prone to blue-groove or have a super clean surface. Also new, to work with Caliber SC and other SC tires, from Pro-Line is the the Split Six one piece wheel, whose design is the staple look of short course vehicles. AKA Pro-5 1:8 buggy wheel
AKA have announced the release of their Pro-5 1:8 buggy wheel aimed at the Short Course truck segment. The Pro-5 wheel is designed to use standard 1:8 buggy tires, but retain the scale look of Short Course trucks. This makes it a perfect compliment to the AKA 1:8 Wheel Adapters for the SC-10 and Slash SC trucks or a great ‘dress-up’ item for any buggy. Manufactured in the USA, it features a zero off-set, 17mm hex and will fit all standard 1:8 buggies, the Associated SC8 and the SC10 or Slash using the AKA adapters for those trucks. The five spoke design with the chrome accented bead lock really captures the essence of the SC trucks while offering the flexibility of fitting all the current buggy tires on the market.
